AJLII Editorial Board Minimum Requirements

| Subject Specialization | Demonstrated expertise in at least one core area: - Consortia management - Digital innovation - Open Access policy - Indigenous knowledge systems |
Aligns with the journal’s pan-African thematic pillars. |
| Publication Experience | Prior experience as: - Author in Scopus- or DOAJ-indexed journals - Peer reviewer |
Ensures familiarity with international publishing standards. |
| Editorial Experience | Minimum 2 years on an editorial board (preferred) or equivalent experience as a guest editor. | Critical for managing multi-country submissions and peer review processes. |
| Tenure / Service | 4-year term, non-renewable. | Balances continuity with fresh perspectives across regions. |
